Lung Kee Group, being one of the four largest mould base manufacturers in the world, has been ranked No.1 in its mould base sales quantity in Asia for years.

Lung Kee Metal (LKM), when founded in 1975, was primarily engaged in the selling of mould steel.  The standard and custom-made mould base divisions were formally established in 1985.  With concerted effort and innovative ideas of our staff, we have successfully developed LKM into an industrial group with a number of subsidiaries in Asia, with factory area exceeding 488,000 square meters, operating over 250 CNC machines, powered by a workforce of over 11,000 in aggregate.  Lung Kee has been listed in The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited since 1993, and is the first company in the Hong Kong mould base industry who went public.

As a pioneer in the Hong Kong mould base industry, the Group took the lead to apply CNC machining centers in our production.  Further, we are one of the major distributors of quality tool steel, representing Assab Steel of Sweden, Daido Steel of Japan, together with our LKM Steel series.  The Group successfully obtained the ISO accreditation for the operational systems on mould bases, mould components and steel distribution in 1994, endorsing the quality management capability of the Group.
